frequente nel sesso femminile e rappresenta il 30% per cento di tutti i tumori maligni che colpiscono le donne. Ogni anno in tutto il mondo vengono diagnosticati pi\u00f9 di un milione di casi di cancro della mammella, di cui 53.000 solo in Italia. Anche il sesso maschile pu\u00f2 ammalarsi di tumore al seno, ma i casi sono rari.<\/p><p>In Europa e nei paesi dell\u2019America settentrionale il numero delle persone affette da carcinoma della mammella \u00e8 in continuo aumento. Ma nel contempo diminuisce la mortalit\u00e0. Una diagnosi precoce, una paziente attiva e responsabile e una terapia individuale al passo coi tempi, conforme a precisi standard qualitativi e alle linee guida richieste incidono notevolmente sulle probabilit\u00e0 di guarigione \u2013 oggi il tumore al seno significa sempre meno una condanna di morte, anzi \u00e8 una malattia dalla quale si pu\u00f2 guarire.<br \/>La possibilit\u00e0 di ammalarsi cresce con l&#8217;avanzare degli anni. Anche lo stile di vita moderno e l\u2019impatto ambientale incidono sulla formazione della neoplasia e forse questa \u00e8 una delle ragioni per le quali la malattia, negli ultimi anni, viene riscontrata sempre pi\u00f9 spesso nella fascia di et\u00e0 sotto i 30 anni.
